A condition assessment is conducted to determine short-term repair requirements and to recommend long term reliability and/or performance improvements and upgrades in accordance with the utilities future plans for operation and maintenance of the boiler unit. The assessment includes a detailed physical inspection of the air preheater components and sub-systems, a detailed analysis of the air preheater structure, and a review of current and expected future operating conditions and maintenance history.  This is followed by a comprehensive review by our engineering staff and a detailed report of the inspection findings, engineering recommendations, suggested repairs and all potential upgrades and modifications.
