The Air Preheater Company can provide many styles of cleaning devices depending on the air preheater size and configuration.  For smaller sizes of preheaters we offer ‘sweeping arm’ style devices that are supplied as either a single or twin nozzle arrangement, and the nozzle arm makes one pass across the heating element for its cleaning cycle.  For larger preheaters, we offer retractable cleaners with either a fully or partially retractable multi-nozzle lance that blows steam or air.  The consumption rates for air or steam blowing, and cleaning times are dependent on the size of the air preheater.  Both styles of cleaning devices are available with Multi-Media™ functionality, which allows the cleaner to operate as a water washing device with a high pressure water source.
