Parts Stocking Program Raymond Operations maintains a stock in its warehouse of most wearing parts for Raymond equipment, such as grinding rolls, bull rings, plow tips, liners, hammers, whizzer blades, mixer paddles and feed rolls, as well as bushings and bearings. We also stock many non-wearing parts including journal heads and housings, complete journal assemblies, shafts, spiders, plow supports, drive mechanisms, gears and pinions. Our warehoused parts inventory is monitored by a computerized program so that stocking reorder points are triggered in time to assure adequate stock levels. Raymond Equipment Wearing Parts Wearing parts for Raymond® mills and classifiers covers a broad range of individual components, metallurgies and manufacturing processes. Raymond Operations believes that you need to have more than one standard choice in wearing parts. Depending upon your specific application, you will want to be able to optimize material wear rates and expense to assure the best combination for your particular conditions. We make that possible. We have ongoing R&D programs on all wearing parts metallurgies and designs to provide you with the most updated compositions and manufacturing techniques available. Non-Wearing Parts Many replacement parts for Raymond® equipment fall into the non-wearing category. These range from relatively small machined cast iron components such as journal heads to very large cast iron machined mill bases. Some of these items are forged, cut and machined for Raymond by specialty manufacturers. We insist that these manufacturers keep a set of our master parts to assure that proper manufacturing specifications of the parts that you purchase have been met. While non-wearing parts are replaced less frequently than wearing parts, they have more complex configurations which require special manufacturing experience and knowledge. We have customers with 50 year old mills that are still operating and occasionally require major non-wearing part replacement.
